Maia Bendror, M.A.

Psychotherapist

I am a licensed psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tel Aviv University, where I specialized in stress and trauma treatment and graduated with honors. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Reichman University (formerly IDC Herzliya), where I graduated cum laude. My background includes extensive training in individual and couples therapy, CBT, and parent counseling, all completed through the Adler Institute. Fluent in Hebrew, English, and Spanish, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds.

With over ten years of experience, I have worked in both private practice and various mental health settings, including specialized clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Currently, I provide individual therapy in private practice settings in Herzliya and serve as a teaching assistant in academic courses related to therapeutic practices.

I believe in the inherent potential and resilience of every individual. My work is centered on fostering self-awareness, encouraging personal growth, and enhancing clients' sense of belonging and connection to others. Using a collaborative, goal-oriented approach, I help clients understand and reframe their challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, and create positive, lasting changes in their lives.
